If you are between two sizes, always go with the larger size! Generally alterations are going to be a necessity, so getting a gown that is larger will ensure the gown can be altered. In the case the dress is too small (even a half of an inch can stop a zipper from closing comfortably), a seamstress is not always able to let the gown out.
